Presentation of the Sustainability Performance Directory

The objective of the Sustainability Performance Directory is the creation of a Map of Sustainable Development and Responsible Entrepreneurship in Greece, which will serve as a point of reference for ALL companies that develop policies, initiatives, actions and systems that contribute to the creation of a sustainable Economy/Society.

The Sustainability Performance Directory has been configured on the basis of the requirements of the Greek Sustainability Code, in accordance with the standards of the corresponding German Code, and constitutes a Business Index of Sustainable Development. As a tool for the development of enterprises in the Greek market, it meets to the following challenges:

• adaptation to the regulatory framework for non-financial information,
• management of environmental and social risk to ensure more favourable financing by Banks and Investors,
• inclusion in Responsible Supplier Networks & international value chains,
• labelling and consumer recognition of Responsible Entrepreneurship.
